Airplane pumpkin drop competition starts at 10 a.m. Call St. Charles Flying Service at 636-946-6066 to participate! Visit stcharlesflyingservice.com for more information. - View experimental and home-built aircraft. - Watch WW II B-25 and TBM bombers "carpet bomb" an airplane with pumpkins. - View historic military aircraft and vehicles, including the 2nd Ranger Infantry Battalion Re-Enactment display. - Take a ride on a Warbird aircraft. - Tour the Commemorative Air Force Museum and hangars. - See equipment from St. Charles County-area fire departments, including the Orchard Farm Fire Protection District. - Food and drink available to purchase!     On Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the St. Charles County Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to the SCCPD at 101 Sheriff Dierker Court in O'Fallon. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. NO sharps, liquids, or needs accepted.
