2. Who is my Council Member?

Your Council Member is determined by the district you live in. Please see the Council page for a listing of Council Members and the Council District Map.

3. When are your Council Meetings?

Meetings are typically held on the second and last Monday of the month, unless there is a holiday or special circumstance, at 7 p.m. Meetings will start earlier if there is a public Work Session. Please see the County Council Meeting Calendar and the Agenda Center for specifics for each meeting.

4. Where can I view the current meeting information?

5. How can current laws be amended or new laws enacted?

To have a current law amended or to enact new laws, individuals need to contact their County Council representative. If the Council Member wants to pursue the amendment or the new law, they contact the County Counselor’s office and request a bill be drafted for introduction at a council meeting. After the second meeting, the bill would be up for final passage.
